HI NEIGHBOUR (HELLO, HELLO)

Unreleased song

We all have the weather in common
The earth, the wind, the sea and sky
But if we didnít have the weather to talk about
What would we talk about?

How many fish will be left in the ocean?
How many birds up in the sky?
What will we say when our children ask about it?
How did we let the planet die?
What will we talk about, you and I?

For we live among people who have nothing in common
But a dream they left behind and a ruin they share
And we laugh about it all now that the children have grown up
But we canít forget the promise when the dream is in the air

Hi neighbour, thereís a dream that we share
Thereís a reason, gonna find it someday
Dream makers, true believers, itís hard to stick together
Kindred spirit take heart

Hi neighbour, hello, hello, itís me out here
I just stopped by to see if anybodyís home
Hi neighbour, hello, hello, itís me out there
Is anybody home?
Hi neighbour, hello, hello, itís me out here
Anybody there?

For we live among people who have nothing in common
But a dream they left behind and a ruin they share
And we laugh about it all now that the children have grown up
But we canít forget the promise when the dream is in the air

In the face of what can we do
Could there be a song
Or when all is said and done
Weíll be lined up one by one
Where theyíll take us to a planet far away

Hi neighbour, thereís a dream that we share
Thereís a reason, gonna find it someday
Dream makers, true believers, itís hard to stick together
Kindred spirit take heart

Hi neighbour, hello, hello, itís me out here
Anybody there?
Hi neighbour, hello, hello, itís me out here
I just stopped by to see if anybodyís home

Hi neighbour, hello, hello

Hi neighbour, hello, hello
Itís me again, anybody home?

Hi neighbour, hello, hello
Itís me out here
