COMMENTS

Buddah Records released the Four Sides Of Melanie in 1972 in direct competition with Melanie’s own Neighborhood label. The American version came specially packaged with a cover that folded out to form a cube. This compilation saw the first release in the US of the full version of Lay Down (Candles In The Rain), which had previously only been available on the UK release of Candles In The Rain.
